Kiosks are physical stations where people can quickly buy a product (like the Sprinkle's Cupcake ATM/Kiosk), that can be at airports, retail stores, resorts. Direct TV and interactive are on your devices and give the product information to you while you are engaging in something else (social media, show). It can be good because engagement gets people excited, but it can be bad because it could bother the user (imagine too many ads while trying to watch a show)
